Moiraine's World would like to announce a new fan fiction contest beginning February 10th, 2007 and ending June 1st, 2007. The winner of this contest will receive an Amazon gift certificate in the amount of $25-$50 dollars. Entries must be new original fan fiction revolving around a character already present in the series. One-Shot and Series fiction will both be accepted, but all fiction must be entered in it's complete form in order to be a part of the contest. There are no rating restrictions, and may be set within the Wheel of Time universe at any Age - providing the central character has already been established in the series.

1. If already a member go straight to the forum and login. If not, register.
2. Go to the Fanfiction subforum.
3. Click on the "New Topic" button.
4. Remember to put a title for your post; copy/paste your story into the message area.
5. Click submit and you're done!

• Email is unreliable. By posting on the forum you are guaranteed to know your submission was received.
• More than one person will be doing the judging. Posting it on the forum ensures all judges see all stories.

• Current staff and/or family members of staff cannot enter.
• The story, whether one-shot or series, needs to be completed to be considered for the prize.
• The story must revolve around actual Wheel of Time characters, whether minor or major. Original characters are fine as long as they are not the main focus of the fiction.
• This must be a story not previously published. The goal is to generate new fan fiction.
• You are free to enter as many times as you like, so long as your previous entry is completed.
• The story doesn't have to be about Moiraine Sedai, but obviously such stories are highly encouraged. Highly. :P

• The prize will be a gift certificate for Amazon (domestic or international) and will be worth between $25-50 USD (so you get free deliver!).
• The winner will be contacted and announced by June 4th, 2007.
• If for some reason the winner doesn't get back in touch to confirm their email, the runner up will receive the prize.
• Moiraine fans will love you and praise you
