I've never seen SVU. I think Marie likes a L&O but I don't know which one.

THERE ARE TOO MANY LAW AND ORDERS.

Wait. What was that one with the couple you liked and it was in Vegas? I have seen four or five of those.

:ythat: There are far too many Law and Orders, or cop shows in general. They all seem to merge into one for me.

I much prefer hospital dramas, Grey's Anatomy rocks :P.

Will I be laughed at if I admit I prefer English mystery series when it comes to cop/crime shows? :sheep: Like Hercule Poirot, Sherlock Holmes, Midsomer Murders, Waking the Dead.

Hmm, what was that one with Helen Mirren? Prime Suspect? I watched that for a while.

I loved the first few seasons of Grey's but haven't seen later ones, though I hear there's a bi doctor.

Um, do only old ladies like the Closer? 'Cause... I kinda feel old for liking it. But Tao and Provenza... so funny. I'm on season one.

@Kate:  how can you not know SVU and get it mixed up with CSI!!!!???

@Olivia: I love some of those too. Have you seen the Jeremy Brett "Sherlock Holmes"? Ooh, and another one I like is "Wire in the Blood".

I'm watching Grey's too. Katie, the bi character is now one half of a lesbian couple... and wow, has their story progressed in a funny/sad way! You gotta watch!

Hmmph. Hmmph! There are also too many CSIs! :mat:

How does/do the Sherlock Holmes series compare to the books?

We should all watch something online together and chat about it someday. MW tv night/day/etc. Geek out across the world.

The new Sherlock is not much like the books at all since it is set in modern London and all but it's good fun. I think the 1984 series with Jeremy Brett as Holmes might be the one most true to the books but I don't really know. Many of the episodes can be found on youtube.

And yeah, it'd be fun to have a something like a video club.

If anyone else wants to do something like a video club I'll make a thread.

Oh, I'd totally be part of a video club. I've watched stuff before with Kate and Niklas, but would there be any way more of us could watch stuff together?

And I completely forgot about the new Sherlock series. I should try it!
