Will there ever be a time when Nynaeve and Moiraine can have a convo without tension? Idkidk

I think that Nynaeve's irrational hatred and latent jealousy have passed, and their "rivalry" was always one sided, however I don't know if I can ever see them not being awkward around each other. Mutual respect, sure, but friends? As hard of a time as Moiraine might have making new friends, Nynaeve seems to have it harder. They seem to be similar enough to repel one another.

I think they get to have post-coital bliss if they wanna! It's really unfair to assume that made up characters needs to follow some poetic plan and can't act out of character. How many times in history haven't two girls that usually hate each other suddenly gone, "Hey, I'm feeling a bit lesbian at the moment, wanna give it a go?" It adds character depth and such thinking has been enormously beneficial for the porn industry.

I just can't see sex happening with them, as it's bound to be just as one sided as Nynaeve's antagonism. As bad as it sounds, Moiraine is attracted to equals or superiors (who she's often equal to in intelligence... uh, or superior).

They're alike, and I think there's respect for ability on Mo's part, but Nynaeve needed a little more life experience in the beginning. I could see them being allies later on. There might still be contention. To be honest I'm actually not sure how it'll go when they meet up again.

If Nyny randomly falls in love with Lan than surely Moiraine could seduce her easily.

And Moiraine is all for excesses.

I agree with Marie and Jaime, I think the tension and rivalry has always been on Nynaeve's side.

I think there will be some tension over Lan. Nynaeve will probably worry that he will have a conflict of duty and feel like he has to go back to Moiraine to be her Warder again (since he only stopped because he thought she was dead), and Nyn won't know how to deal with it. She said in TSR that she didn't want him remembering a broken oath to Moiraine and worried it would put a damper on their relationship, but she knows just ordering him to stay or ordering him to go would solve nothing.
