Because this is one of the more important questions to be answered in the upcoming final tome: what shall Moiraine wear at the Big Ol' Meeting?

Maybe they can have an ancient custom about all being nekked for important meetings to make sure nobody is hiding anything?

She should wear Thom's cloak, that way everyone can tell she is naked, but she is still covered enough to be proper

Thom's cloak, but she can wrap it around like a multicolored toga. It'll become a new trend! Take that, Caraline's Pants.

She could have made Lanfear boots and a snakeskin... er dress? Moiraine would not wear pants.

But Thom and Mat both wore pants and yet Moiraine didn't ask for either pants for her own butt! Clearly it is because she would rather wear a dress or even a cloak toga before pants.
I get what you mean, and fake fighting aside I think it's interesting how femme Moiraine is, and yet how changed and liberated she is from the codes of decency of her country and the strict aloofness most Aes Sedai feel they have to hold to. Yet she remains modest and respected as an authority figure (more than other AS) where other women are not.
I think it's pretty third gen of her not to feel she has to dress 'like a man' to get respect, even though her behavior (trying to do it all, working at being so perfectly contained and self-sufficient) is quite second gen. I bring up feminist terms mostly as descriptors, not so much that I'm trying to say that Mo is a feminist model or if she would even think of herself that way.
Although, she is a well rounded female character with flaws and her own motivations, and my womanist/feminist self likes that about her.
Uh I got off-track. Nakie, yeah. She always is.

I like the idea of Moiraine in pants. I think Thom would like the view, too.

ow, my stomach...too much laughter...
Love it. Not enough NS comics gifs - they are always side-splittingly funny. You are a brilliant star outshining all the others in the heavens, O Great Forum Mistress!

I wonder if RJ specifically requested that Momo have dimples.
