I don't hate Faile. I just added her name in because Perrin is bad at keeping secrets. So Faile probably knows about the rescue too. Actually her spies probably do too. Stupid Perrin. Anyway, the point is, I want them all to die so no one knows where Mat and Thom are, because then they'll be stranded and have to walk to Shayol Ghul.


I actually don't have much more to say than that. I just know that most of us want the book to be about Thom, Mat, and Moiraine hanging out or travelling by foot in the wilderness, and I believe I've come up with a viable way for that to happen.


and ZOMG I just thought of something. Grady doesn't have to die. There's another Dreamspike. It can just be moved to the Field of Merrilor so he can't leave.


realistically though... we better...BETTER... BETTER freaking get a PoV from one of the three before Grady arrives. If the book opens with them just appearing before Rand I'm going to be like this -->

We got so much useless Perrin crap last time around I think it is only fair we see plenty of Mat doing nothing important. Like eating breakfast with Thom and Moiraine. Discussing the weather with them. Helping Moiraine pick out some pants. The everyday things that make Randland worth fighting for.

Really, why can't all of the book be about their travels? The last one was all about stupid Perrin!

I want them to journey and sing for their suppers, steal clothes and manipulate high end dressmakers, and have some serious woodland adventures, including time with Mat at night having to run away from the campfire when things start to get romantical.

I wrote like a 3 sentence fan fic awhile ago of Mat trying to be really loud stepping on twigs as he neared the camp so he could warn them in case they were doing anything untoward.

I would be greatly surprised if Mat didn't do just that; Moiraine didn't seem as nearly concerned with her and Thom having an audience as I would normally expect her to.

Ya. I wasn't expecting it to happen that way, but in hindsight it makes sense. Any other time Moiraine would've been all prim and then they would have had there conversation privately and after the Last Battle because she has more important things to do in romance.

But Mat just saw her naked and helpless. I bet the helpless would be the most annoying part, since she's usually the one saving everyone. Not that I'm saying she's annoyed by it. But since he's seen her at a more vulnerable state than anyone else ever has, then it makes sense that she doesn't give a flying fruit that he sees her being romantical.
