I have learned that the worst job in the world is to be a social worker for adolescents. All they ever do is run away from you and end the world.
Along with that: Silk wears well but it isn't good for traveling in, always have an interesting way to catch fish up your sleeve, and everybody deserves a future to dream about even if they are workaholic aes sedai and gleemen with dangerous pasts.

I've learnt that you can dedicate your life to saving the world, and yet still won't get any credit until after your death. Because of this I have also learnt that faking your death not only gets said credit, but it also gives a person a well deserved rest whilst the rest of the world goes to hell in a handbasket

i learnt that, although being short, you can still kick ass (although i am not as short as Moiraine, i can imagine the shorter, the more kick assy-er)

I've learned that women have the strangest choices in men after spending all their adult life being workaholics.
