At first you like her. She's refreshing and interesting. As you read on she becomes a character that is inescapably vital and important to your well being as a fantasy book reading nerd. Then there is withdrawl. It is long and painful. Some are cured only to become addicted again once she shows herself.
It does not matter how strangely Mat speaks when she comes back. Somehow it is enough just to read more of Moiraine speaking... over and over. And wait for next book.
