I am now back from spring break and find myself bored. And so I ask (demand) of you to recommend something to me. Anything. Books, movies, anime/manga, whatever, I don't care!

And so this isn't a one sided affair, I shall participate:

Books: Any Discworld novel is worth a read. There is also of course... A Shadow in Eternity. :boogie:
Movies: The Fifth Element. Everyone should see this at least once, and if you have seen it once.... What's wrong with you?! Go see it again!

And that's all from me.

Okay, here are my recommendations for books: If anyone's looking for heroic fantasy, I'd recommend Tamora Pierce; for crime, Reginald Hill, Ian Rankin, Peter Lovesy

As for movies... I'd love some ideas myself. I recently saw "Million Dollar Baby", but it was sooo sad  . I heard "Memoirs of a Geisha" is really good too.

Ooh, games: If you haven't played the Sims 2 or Deus Ex, your life has so far been incomplete :boogie:

"The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova.

And Jan's book, of course. :boogie:

+1 Deus Ex: The Conspiracy. You will be blown away, guaranteed. I love how there's multiple outcomes to EVERYTHING.

Books: A Brief History of Time, by Stephen Hawking

Movies: Taxi Driver, starring DeNiro; Boondock Saints

Misc: Smoke weed, then play Mario Kart 64. If you need emulator or roms, PM me.

*perks up* What's that?! Where can I get it?

Oh, I'd also recommend the Diablo games! For some reason I've been feeling like playing Diablo II: Lord of Destruction these past few days, but I have so much work! :-(

Books wise, I'm trying David Eddings' Belgariad books. Not bad...

Deus Ex:The Conspiracy was the very first Deus Ex. I was just agreeing with you.

In my previous post I forgot to recommend stuff... :o

If you want to explore some new music styles (and havenīt already) try Joe Satriani. Some of his music is a little hard to grasp but he has awesome stuff.

best albums: The Extremist, Crystal Planet.
On 14th of march he released his 10th album - Super Colossal which is something closer to his roots.
He plays all styles of music and as you have probably noticed - he is my favourite artist.

:o So I'm not crazy, or we're just both crazy!

Games:Well... Elder Scrolls IV is out, but it's $60 dollars and is either DVD PC or Xbox 360 and has high system requirements.http://moiraine.net/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif

Movies/Anime: Howl's Moving Castle I guess... I've still got mixed feelings about it.:D

I've heard Howl's was a good film. Never seen it though. :o Spirited Away is a good film, even if you don't like anime.

Well, I don't like anime and I have to say... I like the film. I think I'll see more of this Miyazaki's work actually.
