well i already finished the hunger games (just book 1), and now i'm on dead as a doornail (book 5 of the sookie stackhouse books [what true blood is based off of])

Oh, I'm on book 3 of The Hunger Games: Mockinjay. I thought the second book (Catching Fire) was not as good, though.
