I didn't like it either, but it was so long ago I can't remember why. That was probably a major part of it, tbh. I hate when a main character goes into a totally foreign situation and solves all of their problems for them. It's especially annoying when the MC does it by just stumbling into solutions and magically guessing the right answer every time. /rant Anyway, bleh.
