hey jan, i wanted to ask you what sort of writing do you do?
just started getting back into Tae Bo. Normally I've been doing P90x but Tae Bo has more focus on arms in the cardio so i think I'll alternate. I'm mildly obsessed with having cut arms. I tend to girl-crush on women who have really nice ones so make sure you dont start flashing arms on this forum if you have them

*hides arms*
I write fantasy with a dash of sci-fi -- I believe the correct sub-genre/s could be contemporary fantasy / urban fantasy (so I've been told) -- mainly for young adults. Currently working on my fourth book and some short stories.
What's Tae Bo and P90x?

That's really cool. Do you have any of it posted online or published?
Uh-oh are you shredded, jan?
P90x is this really cool workout package. You get like 12 DVDs and they all work out different parts of your body. They have weight training for everything and they have cardio, yoga, stretch, kempo. It's really cool because it gives you a lot of variety. Gaidin 17 got it originally but I always end up taking all his stuff bc he always just ends back up at the gym anyways
By the way there's a ripped girl in the strength training video named Morraine
Tae Bo is some sort of Asian kickboxing that was made popular by this guy Billy Blanks. I find it to be a lot more fun than most programs and it's one of the best cardio workouts. I discovered it when I was engaged/getting ready for the big day (*19 year old Liv moment* "i have to get back down to 115 from 122, roomies!" "too much dorm food!" *kick* *punch* *jab* *uppercut*) lol. ive been into p90x for while and HIIT but that got boring so its time to Tae Bo again too.

lol here's Billy with this girl Shellie his sidekick/cheerleader. She does have some fly arms...
I also have a Total Gym which I enjoy thoroughly but I havent been able to achieve a good cardio workout with it despite what they say. Its good for strength training tho.

Fear not, my fellow Moiraine's Worlders who are, like me, unable to find dates. I have obtained a sizable plastic container of them (already pitted!) and have plenty left to share. *passes out nice sweet dates to everyone*

ooo Olivia i love dates! *graciously accepts date* dont you live in california where the dates hang in clusters in groves just round every bend?
personally i enjoy the ones that aren't pitted (Medjool). we have 15 lbs boxes at the Arabic/Indian store here.
by the way i was so confused when you first said i thought you meant the other kinds of dates
: (*wondering if those kinds are distributable*)

Well I kind of ignored the forum for a bit out of guilt of not finishing book six reread. And then when I don't post for awhile I feel guilty over that and hide in shame.
Then I try and get Kate or Nik to spam the place for my own amusement.
Also, time for new Random.

Shameless self-promotion at slightest chance: http://writeside.net/
And er "shredded"? *looks at self* No, I'm in one piece, thank you.
That dates story reminded me of when I had to wait in Dubai airport for five hours... there were dates EVERYwhere I looked, and I was so sick of them!

man, my AC is not working. im waiting for the repair people *drums fingers* i wonder if just sitting in this heat can qualify as a workout replacement. *wipes sweat regally from brow with one finger* i wish i really did know how Aes Sedai are unaffected by heat. i can feel my temper flaring up to match temperature.

The heat trick is actually not difficult at all. You have to be good at meditation and square breathing.
edit: !! My wireless connection has not been working all day. It is annoying and I give up on it until tomorrow!
