Total weird facts number - 2.

I woke up this morning and started thinking about Galad...

Ok, I know, that part isn't that weird, but than it hit me - Galad will actually have to watch his brother and sister you know...married.. (half brother and half sister, but still, WEIRD)

And than I started re-reading New Spring, which I tend to do religiously, and I found out a strange little fact.

At some point Moiraine thinks about Siuan, who is at the time, all over Cal, the footman. Anyway, she frets about Siuan's potential sex with Cal, and thinks about not knowing whether Siuan already had sex with a guy.
I mean, seriously RJ?! "After six years of practically in one another's belt pouches", it's really unimaginable for two teenage girls (not to mention two pillow-friendly teen girls), not to know something like that.
Well, that's me, what do you think?

How can you act like a married couple and not know each other's sex exploits?! She hasn't even been with Thom and she knows all about him, but seems to think asking Siuan "hey have you done this before" is somehow improper.

I can excuse Moiraine, because she is kind of weird, but why wouldn't Siuan just tell her? Especially since they are all into romance novels. I just do not understand RJ sometimes. Or maybe he just doesn't understand women sometimes.

Galad's mother is Tigraine, who is Rand's mother. Galad's dad is Taringail, who is Elayne's father. That makes Galad the half-brother of both Rand and Elayne.

I think Moiraine was her first or everyone would know. For some reason, I picture Siuan enjoying giving people too much information.


So yeah, it's weird that Moiraine'd have doubts. But WoT love is like that, all confused and without reasons.
