I always assumed that Moiraine knew that Siuan had not been with a man yet when she left the Tower, and the topic had not come up yet when they saw each other again, since they were busy talking about finding the Dragon and more "important" things.

Maybe Siuan used so many fishing metaphors when she was talking about her sexual exploits that Moiraine was never sure exactly what she talking about and her Carhienin prudishness stopped her from ever asking.

I feel like I typed that in one breathe...not that that makes sense at all...I'm going to sleep now .

I guess that Siuan's fish-sayings could explain...a lot, but I keep having this strange perception of WT, being a constant wild-college drinking party. And no one, and I do mean, noooo-one,speaks in metaphors for six years! Especially after some spiced-wine. And especially not if that someone is Siuan.

I like how others (well Moiraine and Min) take notice of Siuan's fish sayings, I just wish someone would tell Siuan to cut it out.

Maybe Min tried once and Siuan went on a three day fish saying binge where every single word out of her mouth had something to do with fishing and fish.

I think if Moiraine said something when they were younger Siuan might have been ok with it.

I can imagine Caddy telling Siuan to stop with the fish metaphors, in fact I think we should have that scene in the next book .
