I actually thought of a few (or maybe just one) personality quirks of Moiraine's but they do not come to me at this late hour.

Still, share with me your thoughts. (Pretend there is coffee sipping smilie here)

She's old enough to be Nyny's mom but still inspires bitch rivalry. Umm, she's bow legged like a cowboy from all riding. Her hair turns messy on rainy days and have been mistaken for a birds nest by starving cats. She goes missing a lot and skip out on whole books. Blood makes her clothes look purple from a distance and clashes horribly with her complexion.

I could think of more, but I want a proper sippy smilie first!

She was overly mean to Perrin in TDR, but it turned out to be deserved, so she obviously knew how annoying he would end up in later books and wanted to take it out on him ahead of time.

She is a terrible, terrible aunt...I mean, good old: "Hey Elayne, how are you?", would've been much better than- "Look Elayne, Black Ajah sisters! Fetch!"

Bad, Momo, bad!

(I couldn't think what other thread to put this in and didn't want to make a new one just for this. Forgiveness if others have posed this question before and I merely blocked the stupid out of my memory.)

So I was flipping through NS today when I had a really really stupid thought... :slap:

We know RJ made some pretty horrible puns on occasion (Lan's daori springs to mind, and Suffa but I'm willing to blame Sanderson for that one), but this is a pretty bad one. It's not Moiraine's fault, exactly, but...

What if kesiera is a corruption of "que sera", from the well-known Spanish expression "Que sera, sera" = "What will be, will be" ... In other words, her favorite, "The Wheel weaves as the Wheel wills" ...? :hbang:

I refuse to acknowledge that he could be so cheesy.
