Visually it was pretty. But I feel like they could've played with it a LOT more. Phaw. Whatever, give me the book already!

Though there could have been more.....And as Olivia pointed out...why now? On book 13?
Though thinking about this lil clip, makes me want a movie :]
Oh, could someone tell me what was with all the fire/embers? Does it represent something?

But for every new fan, they'd get to sell thirteen books. I'm sure they wanna sell as many books as possible to as many people as possible.

I kinda felt it anticlimactic with so many close close closeups and then no proper view of her face or figure. It was all building up and then you get a brief shot of her eyes staring up a bit cross-eyed(Such comic relief) before she rides off.
Also, on the topic of her dark eyes, they look unnaturally dark to me, kinda as if the actress is wearing lenses. Or they tried to make the eyes more intense by turning up the contrast way too much.

Oh my goodness, I think I beat Olivia to a note of book facts!
Yes, Ash. The fire embers likely have to do with the Min viewing of (I think it was Min... if not Egwene dreamt this in Fires of Heaven) Anyway, the dream/viewing had Thom reaching into a fire and pulling out Moiraine's head jewel (can't remember its actually spelling right now.)
Kind of a symbolic freeing of her I always thought.
Yes, I also agree, this 'trailer' just made me want a movie. But I don't get one so stop teasing....

And it was Egwene.
God I'm a geek.
I noticed on dragonmount someone made a comment that this vid contains spoilers (!) in so far as we see Moiraine riding off on a horse and her channeling.
I don't get the horse thing. Horses are the primary form of long distance travel. Of course she'll ride a horse! Maybe this person expected Moiraine to be legless I don't know.
The channeling thing I can see, but then I never thought Mo would be stilled/burnt out.
Having said all that, when watching the video I just thought they were showing all of Moiraine's trademarks not actually "spoiling" us about her current/future state. Ah, Dragonmount. The place that still debates Moiraine/Siuan pillow friendship.

Well, white horses have special significance. For example, the final incantation of Vishnu is represented by a white horse. And as wiki points out, they are often associated with an "end-of-time saviour".
Also, with Moiraine's very contrasting, completely black eyes, and (as far as I can tell) black hair, and dark (purple-ish?), contrasting clothes, I think she might come back as more than a little Blue Aes Sedai.
Fire raining down further hints of the end-of-time and underlines the role Moiraine has yet to play.
So yeah, spoilers in the sense that nothing has been said out loud before. Unfortunately, if Moiraine indeed is a savior, then I fear she has little hope of surviving past the final battle.

The old-lady voice was a turn-off, although it was probably better than some pathetic attempt to imitate her Cairhienin accent.
Not that I think that they would've remembered that.
