I have a feeling Olver will try to be part of the rescue somehow.
I mean, I know Moiraine's letter said more than 3 ppl coming will mean failure and death, but I can see Mat, Thom, and Noal not telling Olver about that part and just telling him they're going off for a while. And it's in Olver's nature to sneak behind and follow the guys he looks up to. After all, that's how he got in with Mat in the first place - he was just some peasant boy Mat saved in town who later snuck into his camp and became part of his party. And there's a few other instances of things like Mat telling him to go play while he makes grownup talk, only for Olver to hide behind a nearby wall to listen anyway or some such. Plus he seems very adventure-excited, so I can see him wanting to get a piece of the action in any way he can, especially if it has to do with the Snakes and Foxes game he loves so much.
As to whether he will actually help the rescue effort or just make it harder/get himself or others hurt, I have no idea.
