She was not mean! Moiraine was acting a child, and got treated as such. In fact, Cadsuane treated Moiraine how Moiraine treats Rand. It's the circle of life.

Even if Moiraine was acting childish, that is no reason to treat her as a child! There is never such an excuse! Even when Moiraine was a child it isn't acceptable! *end insane bit*

Actually, why I don't like Caddy is because she's a control freak, and I don't see her fit to control. I'd put Verin in front before I put Cad there.

She's rather like a mother, isn't she? Generally she treats people like children because that's how they deserve to be treated. She's much older, has much more experience...completely impractical to expect her to suddenly say "Oh, Moiraine/Rand/Random, sure, about 100 years younger than me, stubborn and obstinate, sure, go right ahead of making a complete mess,"

 

Verin's a bit too flighty for my liking. At least you know Cadsuane will finish what she started.

Cadsuane about 200 years older than everybody. The only person who probably knows more about life and the world is that 400 year old Wise One.

I've yet to see a good reason not to. Hey, I love Moiraine more than anyone (hello, I made a site about her!) but I'll be the first to admit the girl needed to be dropped a peg or two.

Verin in this manner reminds me of me. Cad... heh, her, character bugs me. Wise and all that, but sometimes you've got to let that child touch the fire for it to learn it's lesson.

She treats eveyone like children! Even the other two Aes Sedai in New spring! She's not wise she just thinks she's better than everyone else becouse she's a strong chaneler.
