The people who said they ran away I think meant that they converted to another faith or to aetheism.

 

I meant that I never did believe in Catholicism, so technicially I've never converted.

 

Doesn't matter either way what faith anyone used to be though. What matters is how they define themselves now.

*shrug* Same reason anyone doesn't believe in a religion, I imagine.

 

A lot of it was stupid and archaic, and I disagreed with a lot of the things they taught and said. But most of all, I just never was moved by it, and I never believed. And faith is the most important part of every religion; if you don't have faith, you aren't a part of that religion.

 

I haven't been a Catholic for years though, since I was 13 or so, I very rarely even think of it anymore. I don't have an ascribed religon, but I consider myself a very spiritual person.

 

Hope that clears some of the confusion up, Ajit.

I have some more small confessions.

I have noticed I have grown a soft-spot for Elaida...It itches..

I hate Gawyn Trakand. And I think it is mostly because he has blonde and curly hair which I just can't picture in my head.

I think RJ should be locked up in a room not to be let out until he has finished A Memory Of Light.

I said that about running away because I have issues with the religious leaders of that denomination, and not with God whatsoever.

 

I have always believed in a higher power, but you might say that it has always been in spite of the Catholic teachings. I would never do something so silly as to stop believing in a higher power because I don't believe the people who teach the religion they made up about it. I just had to clear that up, because what was explained wasn't accurate to me.

 

I also confess that I had a dream about Elaida and Momo last night. They came over to my house and wanted to know about how to use all of the stuff in the house. Momo called everything that was electronic, "veeedio". Elaida played Spyro on my Playstation but broke it. I usually never have these dreams! I confess I like them!

I too believe in god i just disagree with the catholic church on just about every issue possible so have stopped going to church, but if asked I always describe myself as catholic simply because thats how I was raised, and school brainwashed me into always thinking it;)

As far as confessions go, I must say, I can't figure out what RJ intended to do with Egwene becoming Amyrlin. I thought her character headed downhill once she became it. I find her insufferable sometimes!

Ohoh, I actually thought Egwene was headed toward that from the start. *blush*

 

I wish the books were written with a little more simplicity. I just mean that the descriptions are long and drawn out. There would be more room for other stuff! I also wish there were expanded pillowfriend scenes. Not a lot, but just as much as maybe some of the male/female stuff has been written.
