Physical Description
Beautiful, short {approx. 5’2″} pale, and slender with large dark eyes, soft dark hair falling in ringlets; wears a blue kesiera.
Bio
Moiraine Damodred was born in 956 NE as the youngest child of Dalresin Damodred and his second wife, both of whom were scholars. She was raised in the Sun Palace of Cairhien where her uncle, Laman, was king. While there she learned the subtle intricacies of Daes Dae’Mar, or “The Game of Houses”, the art of manipulation that Cairhienin Nobility play exceptionally well.
Moiraine left Cairhien at sixteen to become an novice of the White Tower. In six years she and fellow pillow-friend Siuan Sanche each became Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah. Moiraine was known to be impetuous and possessed a quick temper in her youth, and was often brought to the Mistress of Novices for the small pranks she and Siuan were so fond of playing. Later in years she perfected a mask of calm (something that all Aes Sedai do to some degree) that quite often caused her to be labeled a cold, unfeeling woman.
Directly after becoming Aes Sedai, Moiraine began her search for the Dragon Reborn with al’Lan Mandragoran alongside as her Warder. This search would last them nineteen years.
