How I Want the Series to Go

He loves Mo differently from what it seems like in the first books. Wait, I remember we just talked about this! I will look for the thread.

I think we did have this discussion before about whether Lan and Mo ever had anything going on or how he loved her. Obviously he loved her a lot regardless of whether or not they were intimate, and I think their are some hints that could go either way in the books about whether or not they were intimate. Moiraine says herself though in book 2 that she was never jealous of the other women who shared his bed, so that's a blunt fact right there they even if he and Mo were intimate, there was a time in their relationship/bond when he was definitely sleeping with other women. I think when you read that statement you automatically assume that they weren't intimate (or else why would he be sleeping with others?) but i don't think its that cut and dry. Jordan never comes out and says that they weren't. And then I personally still think that chapter Bird Calls in the Night in SR was a indicator of initimacy. All in all I think there was initmacy between them, but obviously they never pretended their bond was a marriage. Moiraine was, shall we say, always a very complex and secretive person and she always has her reasons for doing things the way she does. Iris has an interesting theory....

 

And then with Nyna things are very cut and dry and he loves her in a be my bride traditional way, which is good because even tho Mo and Lan are my fav pairing, Nyna and Lan are a close second
