By the way, I read a really great article in the papers today about the ECB's new budget plans etc. Apparently, they plan to increase grassroots investment up to 5 million pounds. Compare that with Rio, who wants Man Utd to pay him 120 mill a week!! Which is 6.4 mill a year!!

 

Puts things in perspective! Poor cricket!

well i met an nigerian footy player who has a contract with a club in england and he told me that his teammates usually perform nasty tackles on him and that they often call him names

I think people like him are bad for any sport because of his attitute. Period. And no, I don't think he's a great coach. Chelsea got the title fair and square, yes, but they also bought it. It's not good for English football either. Man Utd has been spending daftly these years, but Chelsea took my breath away!

 

Could Mourinho have done with Arsenal what Wenger did? Perhaps we'll never know, but I have a sneaky feeling not!

 

And that goal -- seemed fine to me. I didn't hear Chelsea complaining about that goal in the Barca game? Hey, it's sport. It happens. Sometimes it goes your way, sometimes not.
