Grey skys,
Tears shed,
Mothers sigh,
Babes are to bed.
Rain come down,
To us on her green hearth,
Let us hear the sound,
Beautiful droplets on the earth.
All one poem this time. hehe.

Frozen treat,
But yet nice,
Take a seat,
Do you want some ice?
Don't eat it cold,
Although truth be told,
You eat it when you have one,
Tell me, is your soup done?
Silent night,
Bright moon so full,
The moment's right,
Time to pull,
Propose the marriage,
Just beware the side affects of the carriage.
Tall and white,
A spike of silver,
Actually ivory right?
Houses only a sliver,
The Aes Sedai's White Tower.

*idea* Why not make a book where the main character isn't the hero? *idea off*
Sounds fairly adamant, Eye is best.

Is it just me or have we had an attack of bots lately?

I vote Grandma.

I'm skeptical of Bush's first win still.
His second one... Kerry was a nutcase.
And yes, Joan was also crazy. Effective, but crazy.
But crazy leaders get attention. World War II, a very crazy leader riled the whole world.

I wouldn't call that unrealistic... Rand could've done a bit more emotion, but Rand is essentially a robot now. That's possible for a person to assume that mentality, sad, but true.
And I just saw Mat in a new light...

What I think makes a good leader: Honesty, determination, and willing to give it up for the cause, and loyalty to the company/team they lead, cunning, and an understanding of how things work and why they are like that. Age, sex, etc. are all relative to cause.
Small-time leaders manage affairs on a more detail driven level, why big-time leaders work everything on a goal driven level.
And yes, I believe certain people are born with a talent for leading.

With the majority of Aes Sedai, you can't have both good and likeable from my experiance.
And the First of Mayne is doing what any ruler would do, nobody likes a crown ripped from their head.

In the Symphony of Ages seires two of the male main characters are ugly. Gunthor is a race that appears hideous to humans and Achmed is... definition of ugly. Yet the main hero is an extraordinarily beautiful woman. No ugly women, still.

Come to think of it, I don't fall for actresses either.

Hmm... Kate's theory... is so original... *is awed*
-
I found she's quite a good leader, but not a likeable one.
-
Now that is scary. o.o
-
But she's not in the position at the moment...

They have a tannery? *is horribly lost in Finnland*

I dunno... I never fall for fictional girls. Guess I'm weird, or maybe it's a girl thing...
-
They have food?

Well, evil is also very ugly.
Point being, I've never seen an ugly evil woman unless it was a kid's story.
Handsome evil men, ugly evil men, beautiful evil women.

*thinks Perrin should get the balls to make himself king*

Don't get eaten, Jan!

A bit of free-style I felt like doing.
At a second glance, almost all of my poetry is of the tragic romance type.
Lost to my only desire,
And fatal though it seems,
The only thing that could save me from this,
Might just as well kill me.
Forever bent onto it,
Love not love without,
My longing mingled so deeply to fear,
My only hope and my nightmare.
Both my dream for good or ill,
Founded on her so well and deep,
Perhaps redemption is all I have,
But the dream is more fulfilling than life.
Here is another 3 minute rhyming ditty.
Agony of mind,
Torment of soul,
Shall I never find,
My one true goal?
My life is rot,
My dreams dead,
My visions came to not,
And my heart's of lead.
I die today,
I died in my dreams,
Fate wishes no longer to play,
Nor is as whimsical as it seems.
