Do you mind a four hour movie?
If so, then yes.
Are you as fanatical about the book as me?
If so, then its so-so. I am still not forgiving Peter Jackson for making Gandalf scared of a Ringwraith.
And I noticed very small odd distictions in text and scripts...
Book/Movie: You cannot pass! You shall not pass!

And then the whole WitchKing vs. Gandalf... ug... The book it was meant to show Rohan's arrival of a matter of import and surprise on Evil's part. The movie also used this as a chance to make Eowyn's later show down with the WitchKing look hopeless. With every intention of them thinking, "If this guy kicked Gandalf's butt, how the heck is this girl gonna do it?!"
It also emphesised "no man can kill him."
Book: Old fool, this is my hour! *stands there looking threatening, but scared of the Wizard still*
Movie: Old man, this is my power! *breaks Gandalf staff with magic*
I am very disgusted with explicet usage of "old man" for Gandalf! He is Maiar!!!! Not Human!!!!!!

Catholic. Late baptism. My parents were different religions when I was born. Slowed the process. Six kids is because for some odd reason I love infants and small children.

Later today(12:25 am, present time) A family friend who is buying the house is checking it out (as an excuse to talk to my mom). Her daughter, a little demon, and my sister, will be promptly locked out. I will then proceed with regular Friday schedule. That's exciting for me.... Sad....

I found the most hidious thing I had to wear! The suit I wore to baptism! The slacks were a size to small, the shirt was too long(tucking it in was a nightmare, imagine stuffing your pants at age 8, I thought I looked more than ridiculous), and the tie, don't get me started on the tie!
