I like the idea of them seeing each other in passing and then meeting up again in the Two Rivers. That would explain his reaction and her curiousity about him joining them.

I did feel the book was overall very "meh".
Yes, the bots at the tower seem to be channelers turned to the Shadow. It would have been interesting to spend more time on that plotline than on Perrin's.

I have been wondering how she physically survived her imprisonment. What I mean is did they feed her either directly or intravenously, or did they keep her body is some sort of stasis?

Personally I felt it better developed than a lot of other relationships in the series.

I am not sure what to make of her appearance in Rand's dream a the end of ToM. Is she in all honesty wishing for salvation or is it a trap?
And even more importantly what will her reaction be to seeing Moiraine again?

The conflict between being the "perfect" Aes Sedai and her natural human emotions has always been what made her a wonderful character to read about and discover as the series progressed.
I believe that with Towers of Midnight we are perhaps seeing her have finally reached a balance between the two and is more at peace with her role in the world.
The fact that others cannot see this is disappointing, but they perhaps wanted her to be how they envisioned and not how she actually is.
