    I don't know why but I agree with Nik on the power harnessing capability ;)

     

    We know that Cyndane is a little weaker in the power than she was when she was Lanfear. So maybe some of that potential has gotten transfered to moiraine during that fight and tumble into finnland ? Better yet, their potentials have been inter-changed ?

     

    ..... that would probably be too much to hope for .... :fruit:

    I said that about running away because I have issues with the religious leaders of that denomination' date=' and not with God whatsoever.

     

    I have always believed in a higher power, but you might say that it has always been in spite of the Catholic teachings. I would never do something so silly as to stop believing in a higher power because I don't believe the people who teach the religion they made up about it. I just had to clear that up, because what was explained wasn't accurate to me.

    Ok. As you say, I too believe in the higher power that we call god.

     

    A lot of it was stupid and archaic, and I disagreed with a lot of the things they taught and said. But most of all, I just never was moved by it, and I never believed. And faith is the most important part of every religion; if you don't have faith, you aren't a part of that religion.

     

    Yep, faith is the most important thing. I totally agree with you. Sometimes I've had this doubt too.

     

    In my case, I do sometimes feel that some of it is archaic and does not apply to the current social set-up. Also I cannot say I have ever been moved by it.

     

    But I have always believed in the set of rules and regulations that is prescribed. Most of the things I was taught are not about any beliefs but are about discipline. They teach a person how to lead life in a systematic way. That impressed me a lot and that's what keeps me bound to my religion and religious customs more than anything else.

    Ok. But why would anybody who's a catholic want to convert to another faith or altogether lose belief in god ? ;P

     

    I don't know if its a senstive issue for you ... but was kinda surprised reading the same thing in more than one person's post.

    Anyways, there was this poster that .45 had made up. It had a huge jar ( of oosquai ) with a quote "Accept it. Not all maidens are as pretty as Aviendha" or something to that effect. This could be a good idea.

    Well she has afterall directly or indirectly killed two of the forsaken. While this hawkwing person just scurried about with large armies calling himself a king, yet he is honored as one of the worlds greatest heroes.

    Yep, I always think that's what will happen after she dies at tarmon gaidon. Her role in helping the dragon this time around should atleast warrant as much.

     

    .... or I may be prejudiced ;P

    I confess I still like rand .... maybe not as much as when he was a simple sheepherder.

     

    I like Mat the best among all male roles and Mo the most among all female roles.
