The only problem with that is Tuon is black. Infact there are few blacks within the Seanchan.

When you say 'Aiel' I think 'Irish nomads living in the Sahara'.

 

One of the reasons it's hard to compare the Westlands to our world is the mixing of cultures and people you don't see here. For instance, in both Tear and Seanchan you see blonde hair/blue eyes standing beside those of charcoal skin a.k.a. a black person. And before any one compares that situation to America, don't. The 'mixing pot' slogan is a myth. If the Mat/Tuon relationship was duplicated here they would be outcasts.

I know that Semirage is amoung the Seanchan but I was unaware that Tuon or any other Seanchan were black. I'll need to revise my drawings

Well, the Waste is a desert like the Sahara and everytime I think of Aiel/Irish I think of red hair. I'm not sure where the nomad part came in.
