We are starting something, something new.

 

It is a fanfic challege.

 

Each week we will make a new thread with a new prompt to write about. The prompt could be one word, a sentence to be included in the fic, a person or object to write about, or something else.

 

Entries should be 100, 200, or 300 words each (near enough). The challenge is to keep it short and interesting.

 

You need not participate every week, although it would be more challenging to do so. You're more than welcome to post multiple fics for one prompt, or to go back and write fics for old prompts. This thread will keep a list of all prompts so you can come back and check them out.

 

Fic (and feedback) shouldn't be posted in this thread, but in the different threads we'll make for each prompt. Suggest something if you want to see others write about it!

 

If you'd like to participate all you have to do is post your fic in the correct thread. There is no time limit or a limit of the number of fics you want to post.

 

If you need Beta Reader help or have questions this is the thread to ask stuff in!

 

Prompt 1: "The Last Battle" (write a 100, 200, or 300 word story having something to do with the LB. Write about it before, during or after... It can be funny, sexy, tragic, peculiar... Whatever!)

I am new to the lovely Moiraine's World and I would like to start posting Fic...I like the challenge idea allot. However I wouldn't feel confident enough to do this without a beta reader. Would anybody be available?

The only things I won't beta are dubious consent and non-consent (which we don't see much of in wot fic anyway). Other than that I'm good!

 

My offer is there for anyone who wants a beta. If you've already set something up with Marie I'll gladly volunteer for your next one, and help out another MWer.

No nothing has been set up as yet.

 

Gods no I would never write non con or even implied non con on principle. Admittedly RJ does have troubling gender politics but such a thing wouldn't work easily in this world.

 

I tend to write general fic, to start with anyway- the awesomeness that is Moiraine needs to be explored outside the whining of teenagers.

 

Should I email/drop box you? What works easiest?
