My gaidin, we traveled wide,

through the problems, old and new

you were always by my side

brave and loyal, strong and true

 

Our quest shattered peaceful lives

yet the wheel turns it's ring,

more than lovers or allies

almost queen, and almost king

 

Lost, the count of sleepless nights

While you guarded me from harms

Like a child from shadow's bites

I found comfort in your arms

 

Only married to our battles

Never did we break or bend

I would rather accept shackles,

then forget you, my old friend

 

Now I step into the veil

The whole world is at stake

Even though our lives are fragile

There are bonds, death can not break

 

Before I fade, I will be true

A little green, though I am blue

Like Cairhien greats the sun

I will always love you, Lan.

Yeah, well I kinda always dreamed that Lan and Momo, are someday...somehow.. going to end up together uniting Cairhien and Malkier.

(ok, that was just once, and I was drunk, but still xD)

It was sooo weird, when I discovered that they're both royals trying desperately to escape their throne, (which would be such a responsibility, and pain in the but), but when it comes to saving the world, that's like going to the mall. xD Gotta love 'em.
