The Green Man

It's hard to tell when Moiraine might have gone to see the Green Man the first time, and that's something I've always wondered about. But also, what did she do while she was there? And what the heck was she doing in the Blight? It's not like the DR could have been found there.

 

I think it's kinda cool that she was the only one to see him twice, though.

I think it's cool that he remembered her.

 

You can only find the Eye out of great need, so what in the world was she doing? Moiraine is, for all intents, a baby Aes Sedai, and yet she has done some wild stuff is such a short time.

I know, it was pretty cool. He had that head wound that made him forget things - she must have stood out! What I want to know is... how long did she sit with him while he braided pretty things into her hair the first time.

 

I mean, yes! Er, baby Aes Sedai doing incredible things for her short time as Aes Sedai. Lan wouldn't have run off into the Blight to go marry death and whatnot, so what was she doing so close to it, and in the mountains? Maybe she followed one of the women on her list into the mountains for some reason and didn't go the Blight way.

 

Though, Moiraine couldn't have only spent every single minute looking for the DR baby. She gets accidentally involved in too many things.

I do not think Lan has seen the green man twice which suggust that the first time Moiraine was on her own. Perhaps it is possible she was heavily injured and being without Lan had great need of safety?
