Jealously. Don't we ever meet someone and we instantly dislike them and simply must do better than them? The Forsaken are probably more prone to this little niggling things than most people, given their outlook on life.

Thankfully Moiraine isn't attracted to Rand. The only reason Moiraine would ever sleep with Rand would be for some kind of last battle advantage (there's some reference to support this, but I can't remember, though I'm sure Kate or Marie will be able to fill it in...). And not out of any physical attraction. Or else I would simply have to loose any kind of respect for her.

I like Cadsuane. But I think she may have been caught in my 'I-hate-Rand' glow...anyone who doesn't bow down to Rand is good in my estimation. And its nice to have a strong woman around...in WoT it seems to me RJ tends to enjoy breaking his strong women.

I don't think age, sex or sexuality has any bearing on how good of a leader they would be. But it really depends upon what they have to lead. A 15 year old couldn't lead a company into war, but they could easily lead in a school situation.
I think a good leader is someone who is firm and calm, who treats everyone the same and doesn't favour anyone. Not petty, not small-minded, but someone who can see 'the big picture'.

I really dislike the Asha'men forcing themselves on the Aes Sedai...and what Alanna did to Rand is just as bad. Personally, I think bonding a personal against their will is absolutely appalling...as bad as physical rape, as the bondee is constantly privy to your thoughts.
