Summer Fun

Well, I realize that summer started like, a month ago or whatever, but I was just wondering what everyone was doing for their summer holiday? Well...everyone is in the summer season right now, yes?

 

Me....um. So far, I've just worked (at Old Navy), moved out of my parents house and will be going to Anime Expo 2005 in Anaheim, CA, with Marie July 1-4. Other than that, I don't have any real plans. I'll be trying to get another job and that's prolly about it.

(I guess out here the summer's officially over and it's the monsoons now! Which means it stays just as hot, but gets unbearably humid!)

 

Well, I don't really have a summer holiday... it's work as usual through the summer; in fact, more work because with people going off on holidays, there is more pressure.

 

I spent two weeks at home alone as everyone else had gone off to Bangalore. Had great fun. Over the next few weeks I expect to do a final revision on my book's manuscript.

 

I'm also working on a website, which hopefully I'll have finished in a couple of weeks.

oooh....heh well you sound like you're having waves of fun! (bad pun, I know)

 

But that's cool. So how long is your book? Oh and....what does your hubby do?

About 110,000 words... which'll come to over 350 pages, which might be a problem for my publishers. Have to tackle that issue right away. It feels so brutal to chop my own work :x

I took it twice in high school and once in college. My only time for college. That was hell. And I didn't even pass. Lame. So I'm not doing that again. Not like I'm in school to take a summer session anyway..ahha.

I finished high school. College just isn't for me right now. I would rather go when I really want to and put the effort into it that it needs then half-@$$ my way thru, failing classes and wasting money.
