*thinks Marie could maybe write something involving Nyn, kiddies, Mo, kiddies, and intrigue*
Most schools everywhere are all the same. I went to ten of them not including colleges. All served questionable catsup.
-
You would not get far away from Marie with Momo.
And, Thom is mine! *claims him*
-
Please don't run off just cause I'm an overtired goofball.
-
...
Let's try and be positive!
She'll come back:
1) All ready in love with Thom and eager to mate.
2) And realize she wants the best of both worlds: Thom and Siuan.
3) With a kitten
Yay! Will the kitten have a bow? Will Siuan have one?
This is the mental picture I got of the first part about Thom:
*watches Moiraine slowly emerge from her den inside the Randland Zoo enclosure*
Now Cairhiens are notoriously difficult to mate in captivity. Our last pair did not produce successful offspring for the first five years after their initial introductions.
*notices Thom sitting off to the side, pulling whole bamboo stalks down to munch on. He does not see Moiraine yet*
She seems to be bringing something over to the male. He is not Cairhien, but rather a rare breed of Rainbow Coated Hairy Faced Andoran. They are prolific lovers but this particular one is a little long in the tooth!
Wait, what did the female give him? She has given him a folded piece of grass!
*Observes how Moiraine carefully places the grass whistle by Thom's side, than moves around to bat her eyelashes at him coyly*
He is trying the whistle! *listens to Thom play Stairway to Tel'aran'rhiod*
The female seems eager to mate!
*Sees the pair running off together into the bamboo* Success!

These are the things I thought of that could possibly be wrong with Momo when she comes out:
1. blind - I actually have thought of this. In a PoV (and I can't remember where!) she thought something about everything being darkness after a certain point. This probably just means she didn't know what was going to happen.
2. missing some limb
3. stilled
4. burnt out
5. having had memories eaten away until she is a vegetable
6. dead
7. completely emotionally disturbed
8. in lanfear's body - Nooooo!
9. unable to speak
10. changed into some Finn creation
11. Very sick and weak and starved - which would be bad because with the way the Randland world is she might not be able to get better easily
That's all I can think of for now.

Except Cadsuane may be even more tough.
-
They may go back to ajahs, instead of lifelong Ajahs in the future.
-
I get that feeling too, actually.
-
It's a handy thing - Fortelling. Try it, Sivvy!
*still looking forward to WildMo*
-
So true. I always liked Caddy because she calls a spade a spade. Sometimes she calls just about everything a spade, but heck, no one's perfect!
Momo is perfect. Practically Perfect in Every Way.
I bet Caddy is actually very lovely in a Katharine Hepburn sort of way.
-
No, she won't! I'll sneak her Finn meat.
Moiraine will be a wild woman of the forests. Ahem - This I Fortell!
Jan, you've been sorely missed. *has gone uncontrolled since Jan has been gone and Marie didn't have fast net*
And, I think Cadsuane going after Mo for that spanking would be a priceless scene. Any way that it would end up would be very funny.

If people could choose to become like one of the human-like races in fantasy books, I would either be a very small dragon changling... say three feet in length (tail included) ... or a thieving wood sprite.
Or a kitten with wings... *wanders off*
-
Wait, wait wait.. Are these the books where there are city elves and wild country elves? Or, was that some part of the Dragonlance books?
-
Niklas, I do think they would want you for a first-sister-boy at all! Then, they couldn't do fun things, because it is like you are their sister-boy now instead of a puppy. They would have to give away all the little shirts and booties they bought for you, and even your fresh running water bowl with growing catnip on the side. Hm.
*considers* On the other hand... yes! become their first-sister-boy.
*gets ready to steal the pretty Niklas things*
-
lol, yes, but I thought there was something in those books too.
-
*clapclap* Very nice, Niklas!
-
*has read those books* But it was a long time ago. How did you guys like them?
I particulary remember something about playing the flute at an inn. Did that actually happen?
-
I like this one, sivvy!
You make me want to write a mother one!
Mary
a mother's smile
becomes her child
and he to it
held to her breast
sustaining the life of
each other
wonderous hand so tiny
curled pink and brown
is taken
kissed by a mother's lips
blessed in her warmth
as his being blesses her

Ice is nice! Poetry by Siv is too!

They are like telemarketers.
The posts are erased very quickly though.

Another very good point. The strong women become weak and subservient also in a few cases, mostly for the same reason: love for some guy who manages to retain his normal personality and strength
very upsetting at times, the WoT books are.
Yes, maybe that's another reason why I started liking Cad more. ^^

Baby Aes Sedai.. that's cute. I picture them in pigtails with the flame of tar valon ribbons.
That was stated actually just to be silly. *didn't have her game on*
I think that Siuan might feel a little jealous that Moiraine got to be out in the world during her search for Rand. (not much - but a little)
Moiraine might feel jealous of Siuan for not adventuring, at least at dinnertimes when a bug falls in the only stew.
*would*

-Rant!
I didn't like Caddy at first.
But, when I grew up a little I began to understand why she does the things she does in the particular way she does them. She really hasn't done anything terrible to Rand. She treated the other Aes Sedai like silly children because, for some, they were acting like children.
She's not trying to demean the people around her until they feel like tiny little bugs.. she's trying to get them to step up. And, like it or not Rand needs someone like Cad not to baby him right now in the books. Who cares if she hurts some poor Aes Sedai's precious feelings.. especially if they're possible BA. She's trying to help Rand just as much as Momo, but in a different way. She's trying to save his mind. We might not like that old grandma or aunt that pushes us to change. Would we change without her? It might not be too terrible if we don't, but it would be if Rand doesn't. /Rant
I may tease about Cad, but she's a good one in my estimate.

There's definitely truth in that.
It has to do with perspective, too, I think.

That is true! Any fanficcy would be good.
