Lanfear went willingly to the Shadow because of her outrageous emotional extremes, as Semmy might see it, whereas Sem chose the Shadow out of an intellectual need to torture the crap out of people. Strangely, inside each of them their emotions are probably the opposite of what they appear on the outside. Lanfear seems actually very cold when we get down to seeing her true desire, which is to be better than everyone and rule with more power than the DO and the Creator.
Semirhage tortures because of a developed sadism that craves the physical and emotional pleasure received from breaking another human being and controlling them utterly. It shows the deep flaw of her own failed control, really.

That is funny. I'm using the same version of ff, and I'm having no problems like that. It is working alright on Opera too, and IE.
I was also going to say that I never use the quick reply, so maybe it has something to do with that also.

That is a nice observation and one that I hadn't known about.
I can't exactly remember any other mistakes on RJ's part, except for one small part where he writes about an Aes Sedai opening herself to saidin, but I think things were changed in a later edition of whatever book that was.
That part where Perrin walks in on a mostly naked Moiraine was amusing because it reminded me of Mrs. Robinson a bit. It was cute how Perrin fumbled around telling Moiraine he thought Lan was with her, and then backtracked to say they always had their heads together, and then tried to backtrack again.
Then they just stood around and had a discussion! Poor Perrin. It was a little funny that Elaida, who had positioned herself in Andor with Morgase specifically because she knew Andor would be important to the Last Battle, missed the actual point of her Foretelling so entirely. She even met Rand, knew there was something interesting about him, and let him go. She couldn't really have known who he was, but it was amusing still. Then, when Andor was becoming more important to the Last Battle because of Rahvin, then Elayne taking the throne later with Rand's children, etc, Elaida had already abandoned Andor in favor of Tar Valon.

She's not really, it's just that she's got that arrogance she can't help, and it's mistaken for other like traits!

I'm not sure why, but their personalities show themselves to be totally different. They are both prideful to a fault, and incredibly egotistical. Semmy wants to be the top Forsaken, but perhaps is annoyed at Lanfear because she's seen as the DO's favorite child in a way.

Awe, lol, yes, that's a cute scene. There's another scene somewhere in one of the books where Momo comments on a woman's looks and finds her chest to be just a little bit too big isn't there?

Another Momo bit that I liked was when Rand, the Aiel, and everyone just got out of the Waste and they came across the town that had been destroyed by the Shaido. A woman was telling the story about what had happened and got very faint. Momo jumped down off of Aldieb and went to her. She gave her a refreshing weave it seemed like, and held onto her shoulders. Whether she was doing it out of compassion or for another reason it was just a nice thing to have done.

Thom was leaning away because Aes Sedai bothered him in horrible mental ways then. Momo was speaking as if she were talking to Lan, but there's another layer to that conversation. The real reason she was bragging was for Thom's benefit, because she liked him. She was being playful, and showing him more of herself, like opening up a little gift for him in which lays Momo Pride.

It is Shadie with the white hair on the left, Momo with a blue sort of sunbeam crown in the middle all bent over from getting booty kicked, and Birgitte who is called Birdy doing the booty kicking on the right side. The green are leaves from a tree that we were all standing in.

This isn't really a single moment, but I always liked how tough Momo was after getting injured. She didn't complain or cry about things afterwards (although she didn't mind howling when it happened!).

*giggle* She'll be easier to booty kick when she's reborn. The guy who is helping her to do it will be on tonight sometime. She'll be 15 again! That's smaller than Caddy! Of course.. she'll still be better.

We'll just have to prepare for a screencap taking event. The best thing was that Shadie was on one side and Birdy was on the other so perfectly like that. It was a booty kicking sandwich!

Remember when she wore that very silly hat that looked like a giant roosting bird and it got cockeyed on her head? That is cuteness personified!Hmm.. Asmo.. Well, she really doesn't like the DO or any bad things though! It makes her feel dirty.

Well, my parents love Football and are American. Both of them are far more intelligent than I. But, any time you make broad generalizations you end up wrong.
I phrased it "American Football" out of respect because most of the people here would think I was talking about the other one.
It does make much more sense that Football Football should be called that! Thanks, Marie, for that info about rugby. I had no idea, and it makes sense.
What I hate most about it is all the breaks they take! Also - I am called a jinx because everytime I'm around a television - sports bar, some one's house, whatever - the local team starts losing!
