Has anyone seen the new Harry Potter? Is it good?

I usually avoid Hogwarts (and not just for the disgusting name) but the trailer for the new one actually looks pretty badass. How times change.

 

 

I went to go see it over the weekend and was pretty disappointed, not that it wasn't good, but I just felt they could have been alot better if they stopped changing the book so much (and maybe sent Daniel Radcliffe for some acting lessons )

It might simply be all the fan fic I've read regarding the subject *cough Laura's cough* but I always thought it was a sexual thing for Elaida.

 

I also think this would explain why she spends a good portion of her time later on, hell bent on getting revenge

The wierdest place I've ever heard of anyone being born is a yacht, but I always figured it wasn't exactly a brilliant idea to go sailing whilst 8 months pregnant

Eric Bana could be quite a good Lan, I remember being really impressed with him in Troy

 

Unfortunetly Josh Duhamel is way too old to play Rand, since when the series starts Rand is around eighteen.

I don't like children enough to even be tempted to reproduce. Although I'm sure that will change when my biological clock starts ticking (luckily that won't be for a while)

If a baby doesn't turn around properly, it comes out breach...so either the feet or the bottom comes out first.

 

Whilst there can be complications, there aren't always. I think it was more of a problem in the olden times, when babies were born at home with only a midwife.

I think I would be tempted to slap Sanderson if Moiraine came back all lovey dovey about Thom, not only would it be out of character but it would just be...wierd.

I've never really been a "team Thom" person, so I never really saw evidence of Moiraine liking Thom until that letter.

 

I think there was probably a mutual respect between the two throughout the books, but thats about it.
