So I'm rereading Lord of Chaos, and one thing that really pops out to me is how much Galina seems to hate Moiraine. Since there is no explanation for it in the books, I went to google to see if anyone had ever thought to write some half interesting fanfiction about it (I think this place has made me expect far more Moiraine related FF than actually exists). Anyway, this thread was one of the top google hits, so I thought I would play necromancer and revive it. And also say, I too hated Galina's arc.

I can't even watch her in wheel of time. I tried watching clips and she brought me right out of it. It is so frustrating.

Is anyone watching anything worthwhile? I've just finished Only Murders In the Building, which was good, but I'm struggling for anything new. I did try house of the dragon, but found it a bit meh, it's very pretty to look at but there's no characters that I actually like.

I feel like we also had a what are you watching thread...but I might be wrong about that one. Edit: We do! now if only I had something I was watching I could actually revive it.

Haha, you found the book thread! Did you ever watch Vikings the tv show? I loved that! Currently reading The Golden Enclaves, book 3 of the Scholomance trilogy by Naomi Novik. It's set in a magic school that is essentially out to kill it's students. I love these books.

Is it possibly still in your brain? I ask because I "lost" my phone the other day and so tried to call it...with my phone...that was in my hand. It was a moment I was glad there were no witnesses for.

I think we all know I'll be complaining about whatever spoilers I can get my hands on through Reddit, so you may have to deal with it 🤣. But it made me laugh how even reddit struggled with the positivity after the last episode.

I suppose nows the time to admit I had no idea what Funkos were until I googled them.

House of the dragon wigs are on point aren't they! Although I feel they mostly bought up the platinum blonde wigs, which should leave some for Rosamund and Rand (I feel bad I can't remember the actors name and don't have the energy to google).

There's a part of me that really wishes her and Lanfear would have been forced into some sort of situation where they had to work together to escape. Can you imagine how much Lanfear would have driven Moiraine insane.

...I have nothing to add except I thought I would pop by and comment on some threads. Including this one. Hope everyone is having a good life, and covid didn't screw everyone over too much.

My reaction after watching the first episode. Which I admittedly did about a year ago, but I'm posting now just because! I have not watched since episode 2, and have really just been lurking on reddit to gage other folk's criticisms.

Have we heard if Elaida has been cast. I still worry that they are merging Liandrin and Elaida which would be a terrible idea. (I don't know why I'm asking because we all know I'm still not going to watch the show)
