Being deep is just the opposite of being shallow. Those who hate shallow people will call themselves deep just to separate themselves from them. At least it's something like that. The ones who really aren't shallow don't care to call themselves anything.

How come Germans always seem to sound almost exactly like somebody else when they sing? The singer in Primal Fear is obviously trying to imitate Rob Halford (Judas Priest) and that Edguy guy sounds like Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) sometimes.
