I opened it, but all I saw were some strange, white spots at the bottom, so I closed it again, hoping it was not killer spores.

The medicine is gone since long actually
. I cleaned the bottle before putting it on a shelf in my room, but I figured that the genie might have got out and then returned to a fresher home.
I can open it and ask if there's somebody in there.
-
The banner is gone because it distracted me. Too sharp colours.
A genie? I've got an old medicine bottle from the nineteenth century. Perhaps there's a genie there too.
I don't want to know what was in it. There is no label.

All hail the MOTM!

I pimped my profile for the new year's sake.
Both the avatar and the banner are my work. Finally I've got an avatar that matches my user name.
That count is nasty, by the way. I agree with Marge Simpson. "Go back to your own country!"

I think you're the first to use my name since I put that in the signature. Cookies to you!
Yes, I actually use a very cheap mouse. It's quite OK until I have to do eyelashes.

I don't feel bad for the devil sheep. I ought to try that on one of my brother's sheep
As for the goats, I think that something in their breeding went horribly wrong. They could never survive in the wild.

Happy new year! I'll have to find a new avatar

I paint everything by hand using the basic tools in GIMP. Not even I know exactly how it's done. I guess it's just a matter of picking the right colours, knowing the interface and controlling the mouse.

No! Not Kermit!

Yes! A mistletoe. I didn't even think of that. I'll have to look for references, though, since that tradition seems to have gone unnoticed in my family. I'll need a background too. Perhaps I'll just take some screenshots in Oblivion and edit them a bit.

Yes it was! I agree that it looked a bit different in the lineart. It's the red that does it.

He is in colour!

So, the reason I can't turn people into baguettes is because I'm a woman?
That's not fair.
Some of my friends went to Paris a couple of years ago. They complained a lot afterwards that the food was too fat and sweet, like chocolate with butter for breakfast, and the French taunted them for wanting to shower every day.

Two tea mugs that I picked out myself because they were so lovely, clothes, two really strange santa figures, candles, chocolate, peppermint rocks and money.

I've started colouring it and I like what I see. The cloak looks better than I thought I could manage. A couple of days and it will be done
I don't know that much about knights templar. I don't think that Eddings is a reliable source in this case
Random knight: "Oh, come on Bevier! Stop being so religious! We're only God's soldiers. Put away that huge axe of yours and grip your sword instead".

Whitecloaks wear togas?
He has just found a new way to wear his cloak.

You're right Tosh. Toffee is what I get when I look for a translation. It's a lot harder than any toffee I know, though. The taste is quite unique.

It's like a mix of a childrens' TV show, curling and insanity!

I don't, because I have a serious case of nausea. I requested salmon yesterday because I can't handle fat food, but my aunt drenched that in fat anyway.
Merry Christmas.

I watched Asterix yesterday
That made my christmas.
My brother and I thought it strange that Asterix was Welsh while Obelix was obviously Australian. All the Romans were horribly English with the exception of poor Brutus, who had a thick Italian stereotype accent. In that case I actually prefer Swedish voices.

OK. I've been working quite hard on drawing and colouring for some time now because it's so fun. I've become a deviant and now I've begun to submit WoT art, starting with a little seasonal creativity.

And ten dynamites only make your hair stand up and leave you with a thin coat of soot.

The Fires of Heaven

The Path of Daggers
Least: The Shadow Rising (took over a year! hated the desert)
I do have some serious memory gaps, so I'm randomly re-reading everything. It should be done by 2009 or so
It's something with those books that create serious time slips. I read ten pages and it feels like ten minutes but in real life it takes half an hour. I think that I adjust to the time in the books somehow. A single breath between two sentences sometimes takes two pages. I finished The Phantom of the Opera in four days, so there's no serious reading trouble.
