Asha'men and the Aes Sedai

I have wondered this for a good while, on whether or not the Asha'men will eventually merge with the White Tower and simply become Aes Sedai (again). Well, maybe not 'merge' as in everyone in the same building (they would kill each other...) but both being Aes Sedai as in days past.

I think they will merge somewhat. Which makes me huff because I don't like the Asha'man. It seems reasonable considering the increasing, uh, "interaction" between the two groups. Also, didn't Egwene have a Dream in ToM or TGS where she saw the new rose window in the Hall featuring the united Flame/Fang symbol instead of just the White Flame? I agree that they could never live in the same building though. They'll probably keep their separate "Towers".

Why don't you like the Asha'man? Not that I like them much either, now that I think on it...

 

To me it makes sense for them to be both be called Aes Sedai even if neither actually seems to want to be of service to the people.

Yes, they should both be Aes Sedai. I don't like that they are only weapons. Now that the taint has been cleansed they deserve/or should be more.

 

They're jerkfaces for forcing warder bonds, but hopefully Egwene will get them to release the AS bound against their will even though they do have that treaty thing happening anyway.

 

They could live in the palace that Elaida was building for herself.
