Hideous childhood outfits

Who hasn't looked like some kind of freakin' weirdo at some point in their childhood? Showcase all of your bad taste (or your parent's) here. Come on, it's shame free. I promise.

Oh dearie me... that was so funny.... is that you, Kaitlin?! (Well, I think we all still want to see a grown-up pic!)

 

I actually don't have a copy of my most embarrassing childhood get-up at the moment, but I can describe it. It was at a fancy-dress event, where you have to dress up in various costumes and you get judged for the best one. I was six or seven.

 

My mother had this grand idea that I'd go as Eve - so she made me a dress out of leaves... yes, leaves stitched together!!! By the time it was my turn, the dress had slipped down to my waist!

 

That was my first - and till date last - topless appearance in public. If I find the pic, I'll scan it and put it online! Promise... (oh yeah!)

Oh lord, I do! I also remember I had to wear something green underneath. I only had white panties (monstrosities with frills on the behind ), so I was wearing shorts! So half my dignity was intact!

 

And yes, those undies are hereby added to the hideous childhood clothes list!

I'll have to find some of mine and scan them...assuming this thing scans. And I'm at my parents house.

 

But I have some pretty bad ones...like my 7th Grade Band picture. The uniform is horrid. So I'll have to do some digging.
