Hideous childhood outfits

I have lots. But thankfully most pictures seemed to be locked away. The worst I could find was the velvet and ruffles look.

Oh, Marie! It was probably hard to resist dressing up such a cute little girl in ruffles to make you seem even more adorable. Poor dear, though, forced to endure puffy sleeves.

And rufflie undies?! Did anyone else have those? I only wore them to church, and I think they might have been like, undies over undies, but they had like rows of ruffles on the butt..... Anyone...?

And I always thought those frilly, ruffly undies were a wierd Indian speciality thought up by Bengali mothers!!
