While true, they aren't isolated like Japanese were. They're surrounded by taller, darker, different eye/hair colored peoples, yet I can count on one hand the number of blue eyed Cairhienin we've seen. That is not natural! It's like a cult. A country-wide cult. *paranoid*

Most of the peoples and cultures seem to be very exclusionary for being on the same continent. Especially one that people keep crisscrossing, even with the Power, like they do this one.

 

With their losses in battle against the Blight, you'd think that there would be more southern blood in the Borderlanders, as after a bit there would be a decided gender imbalance...

During my reread I noticed Egwene describe Leane's face as brownish stone. Brown! That comic drawing through me through a loop, but now I feel better.

 

I also wonder if Amico is asian in features, although I'll admit that has more to do with her name. I kinda like that evil lil' Sedai.

I always pictured Shara as being really diverse in all different looks for some reason, like the Seanchan.

Its quite likely that shara will be diverse although until now I never really thought about it
