New Release Date for tGS!

The Gathering Storm (book/novel) will be released in the US on...

Tuesday, OCTOBER 27th

 

We have confirmed that the unabridged audio book will be available in the U.S. on the release day as well (in addition to the actual book!). Previously, we confirmed that the book would be available in the U.K. and Australia on Nov 3. With this new release date, it is highly likely that it will be available on Oct 27th as well (in UK and Australia).

 

my baby's due on the 26th. ill have to buy it as a birthday present for...well...the one who does the work on the real birthday.

I got all raged up thinking they'd announced a delay, but then I got here and read it and now I don't know what to do.

I'm glad the unabridged audio book is getting released at the same time. It'd be a pain for hearing impared folk, and everyone who hears English better than reads it, if they couldn't get their wot fix at the same time.

i meant the actual book is getting released on that date, and the rest of the little post is saying that the audio book here in the US will be as well. let me fix it...

I find myself torn on this book purchase; the US edition would be cheaper for me (obviously) but the UK edition is just so much prettier. I love the UK cover. Oh what to do!

I am all for matching, except NS and KoD are hardcover and the rest are paperback so they already don't match. That, and if I got the US version I'd be very, very, very tempted to throw away the slipcover which feels so wasteful and almost sacrilegious to a book lover such as myself.

 

I am just as anal about matching cover art on my books but there comes a point when I have to question that drive of mine.
