I personally think Rand likes surrounding himself with attractive Aes Sedai.
But that's just me.

I suppose it would be easier for me to swallow Eggy if RJ didn't seem so caught up in making her, Elayne, and Avi so special so young. It's like everything is just handed to them on a silver platter, and they throw a fit if things aren't.

Oh, there are plenty of guys who've fallen for video game characters. Although they don't freak me out as much as the 25 year old women in love with Harry Potter.

Faile just rubs me wrong. And, upon further reading, I've lost any small amount of respect I granted Egghead. Even though I know why she's trying so hard to be the "perfect" Aes Sedai/Amyrlin, I still don't like her behavior.

How many have ugly heros in them? I can honestly say I most likely wouldn't enjoy a story very much if it was filled with ugly characters. Heros/villians are not suppose to be your everyday Joe on the street, and evil, ugly characters seems cliché which leaves only one option, really.
In WoT defense, I have noticed less than beautiful female characters, even plain ones, but then when read from a PoV of someone who loves/cares for them they become beautiful. I think the number of actually beautiful woman in this story is around even with attractive men. Except in the main characters, of course.

That's a good point. They didn't care about that neck of the woods for ages until now.

You can channel blind; the flows have a feel to them. But I think that really only works if you started out that way, not trying to learn to feel after learning to use them while seeing.
Maybe the Finn are fattening her up for leather.

The whole point of that comment was to make Moiraine become queen. In other words, give her two options one of which you know she would refuse outright. Unless of course she hates the idea of being queen so much she takes Rand up on his offer.

I also wonder about her mental state. Of course, that depends on how much she saw while there.

I liked Pirates II. I thought for a movie series based on a Disneyland ride, they did a fairly good job.

I would like to believe she isn't, but every now and again when I lose my senses I go to Wotmania and people there write paragraphs explaining why "of course she's stilled!" and making me feel like a helpless fanatic for wanting/believing otherwise.

But the only place where the Game of Houses is played even worse than Cairhien is Tar Valon. So if anything, being in the Tower probably made that aspect worse. I'm thinking it's just like that one Aes Sedai (Kate should know her name. *looks at Kate*) said - that "taint" on House Damodred seemed to have skipped Moiraine's generation.

She likes Min for one. And she's too normal for a Damodred. Not natural.

I would name her my heir! Or at least her offspring. If I was Rand, I'd tell her "Be queen or bear my babies!" Let's see how she likes that!

I suppose how well Nynaeve and Moiraine get along would depend on how Lan acts towards Moiraine. I'm doubtful the two could ever be friends, but then, if Nynaeve can be "friends" with Elayne I don't see why not.

Egwene gets better around book six. I don't like how she tries and act Aiel. I don't like Aiel in general; they judge everyone who isn't Aiel and get upset when someone returns the favor.

Because he's a ladies' man and dislikes Aes Sedai! That's a hero in the eyes of Wotmaniacs.
Nynaeve I used to hate, but I don't anymore - Elayne took her place. However, if she returns to acting the fool when Momo comes back..well...I'll start hating her again.

M: Doesn't always think things through.
S: Her fast temper.
