I fully acknowledge my beef with the Siuan casting is entirely based on a bad Tumblr experience where these peeps insisted she and all the other poor people from Tear were clearly black because they were poor and mistreated and got upset when I quoted her actual pale ass description (after someone asked what the books actually said, so it's not like I was raining on their stupid parade). I think that's what it is... It feels like picking actors for who they are versus how well they fit the role or rest of the cast. Like they might be great individually but a mess when thrown together.
