Tilda Swinton is fantastic, but I just can't see her as Cadsuane. More like Mesaana.
This guy, whoever the hell he is, needs to play Mat. I have never seen the essence of Mat's character captured in one simple picture before.

This woman is 59 goddamn years old goddamn. Let's see her play an awesome badass lush sloshing her drink and not dying for once and being a hot mess with her lesbian gf AS.
I do like Mary McDonnell, but for some reason I think she should play a more "good" AS instead of Queen Red-Frost Bitch.
I would like to see Gina Gershon as Elaida.
Red suits her. Okay, maybe she's too young/sexy for Elaida, but dammit a girl can dream. You want to see someone being an awesome badass lush and being a hot lesbian mess? We should watch Bound sometime. But not Showgirls, ffs. Not unless I get really drunk.

I use the free version of AVG anti-virus and it suits me just fine. But then, I don't tread on high-risk sites (I prefer literature
). So if you're worried about your computer safety, you might want to shell out some money for better protection, or at least find a way to *ahem* acquire it. Having an updated version of whatever browser you use also helps protect you. -
I was so confused until you explained Sarene was her daughter's name. Fun story, I like the idea of Moiraine having devious little daughters running around.
But I must protest... A whole story about blueberries and no mention of blueberry tea?! I was expecting some blueberry tea between Moiraine and namesake!Sarene. *pouts* Then again... knowing Vertex, this is probably a mercy.

Nothing special, just went to England to visit family. I hadn't visited in some years though, so it was fun being there again and seeing everyone. Hard to believe it was cold and rainy even in mid-June, though. That's England for ya.

I have just realized that, as a Murandian, Elaida must have an Irish accent (according to the NS audiobook). This makes her raging alcoholism approximately 4.6 times funnier than it already was.
edit: I feel like I might have come to this realization before. Am I an idiot? Kinda woozy on cough meds atm, so please let me know.

It felt strange having a birthday while traveling in a foreign country, but I think it's something of an accidental family tradition (Sis had one in England, Bro1 in Japan, Bro2 in Iraq, Bro3 in Australia). Glad to be back, I missed you all!
