What will happen to our heroes in aMoL?

Or, more specifically, what do you hope will happen to them?

 

Personally I hope Rand dies. He has been the most insufferably predictable character by far and I'm only part way through book 6.

 

But I hope he heals Siuan and Leane of their stilling (properly!) before he croaks, maybe he can help Moiraine too

 

I love Thom Merrilin but I sincerely hope he recants his love for Moiraine and goes back to his gleeman ways. This would leave Moiraine free to pursue her love for Siuan. Oh yeah, I hope Gareth Bryne falls into a ditch.

 

It's not that I'm a horrible person, I just love Moirain and Siuan together. (Am I convincing anyone?)

 

But now I feel terrible because Elayne's twins and Aviendha's quadtruplets (yikes) will have no father.

 

Well... one can hope and if that hope proves to be false, thank the light there are talented writers out there who dedicate their time to fan fiction.

 

What are you guys hoping will happen to your favourite characters?

 

P.S. I JUST this minute pre-ordered aMoL. It's my first hardback book in about 9 years but it means not having to wait until April for the Kindle ebook. And yes. I might skip straight from book 6 to book 14.

Yeah...not happening. They'll have some cheesy wedding ceremony and run off to a tent somewhere. To do things.

 

I want a Lan/Moiraine reunion. And if the Siuan/Moiraine reunion doesn't use that stupid tingle thing I will be so disappointed.

 

I am not pre-ordering but instead taking my butt to the store at eight am and they better have the book.

I really hope Cadsuane dies. In book 7 she sais something like "...[her dealing with Rand] will be the best end of it all." I also think Min will die. Siuan and Moiraine will be weird I'm sure. Having each other's mistakes interrupt each other's plans is not a hard thing to overcome.

I too hope for a Moiraine/Siuan reunion, even though their canon relationship is no longer the way I want it to be. Marie's right, that tingle better come back!

 

Actually a Moiraine/anyone reunion would still be fun to read.

 

As for Cadsuane.. I agree with Adam, it's likely she'll go out in a blaze of glory. But I'm equally amused by Ekho's idea that Cads will survive just by virtue of being Cads. Let's see what happens

If Cads dies I hope it's from the sheer force of having to fry Rand. But I also yearn for Moiraine to kill him... Maybe a combined effort?

The main thing I found dissapointing about the book was the distinct lack of Moiraine...and Lanfear's death but I knew that was going to happen.

 

I loved that Moggy didn't die!! I know she's in an a'dam but I have faith she'll get out of it.
