Later today(12:25 am, present time) A family friend who is buying the house is checking it out (as an excuse to talk to my mom). Her daughter, a little demon, and my sister, will be promptly locked out. I will then proceed with regular Friday schedule. That's exciting for me.... Sad....

Aren't they the best tho?

yup! hehe i wanted to go on one this year, but none of us have any money cos we are busy being poor students...

just to keep you guys updated, i think the situation with my boyfriend is improving... which is definitely a good thing! so i'm much happier at the moment! yay! fingers crossed it was just one of those stupid phases blokes have from time to time...

i like my family get togethers most of the time... but the next time the entire family descends, i'm going to take sivart's advice and lock myself in my room... because when everyone's there, i get to babysit SEVENTEEN children by myself so that their parents can all have a break and talk to each other!! argh!

17 children !! how do you manage to keep an eye on all of them carina ??

I love family get-togethers too, but we have a couple of nosy relatives who have nothing better to do than gossip about everybody else. When they come over, I pretend to be busy and lock myself up in my room.

yup, seventeen! i'm the only only child in my family, my mum has 1 sister and 4 brothers, and they have all had at least two and up to 5 children. then they bring their brothers and sisters, and partners and children, and it just all gets a bit ridiculous!

being the oldest girl, i get to "play" with the kids! ajit, i don't keep an eye on them, i just stand in the middle and hope for the best! it would be ok if they saw me as some sort of authority figure, but they don't... and if i say "no" or "don't do that" they look at me, laugh, and carry on! bless... ages range from 9 years to 18 month old twins... it's... interesting!

I could never imagine being an only child. I have a sister and three brothers (all younger) so I've really never been alone. Even now that I've moved out, they still call me and I do stuff with them.

it doesn't bother me overmuch, and i have made very close friendships... my best friend in the world is more like a sister to me... we only see each other a few times a year because of living in different countries, but we still finish off each others sentences, and when one of us is upset the other seems to instinctively feel it, and calls... it's odd, but it's an amazing feeling... i guess like having a twin!

saying that, i do need my own space... hence being so happy about my house! hehe even when my bf moved in last summer when my parents went away, it did get to the point where i was like "go away. for five minutes!" cos i needed my space! hmm... and yet i LOVE going out with my friends! strange...
