I have no idea... for some reason Moiraine strikes me as being reeeealllly old compared to the Emond's Fielders... possibly because she is more worldly-wise when she meets them? Hmm, hadn't really considered Nyn being Moiraine Jnr... *goes off to ponder*

Well she's 20 years older than Rand and the boys, and 18 years older than Nynaeve. So she's just barely old enough to be their mother, but not old enough to be their granny.

Some people go for the strong, silent types, I guess.

 

I do like Nynaeve, though. Despite the fact that she was in love with Lan, she was never silly about it like Jordan's other women were. Even in KoD, she does what she has to though it seems to tear her apart. (Of course that brings us back to the whole question of how much exactly does Lan love Nynaeve?! :-p )
