If there is anyone who knows NS it's Laura. Ellid was the most beautiful girl in the Tower (and she knew it), and obviously when she died whoever was in second place was bumped up to first.

Has anyone noticed that evil men are often deformed or extremely ugly in some way (Ishy for example) and evil women are extraordinarily beautiful?

 

Not just WoT, but fantasy in general.
