Siuan and Mo are BFF!

I don't believe they are. Siuan didn't think one thing about hearing Mo dead in any of her PoVs and that makes me annoyed! Momo did have a reaction about hearing Siuan was stilled.

 

I do think that they are very very close.

 

Maybe because Mo only was around Lan most of the time she stayed thinking that Siuan was so important to her, but mean ol' Siuan was having other friends over all the time to play card games and now doesn't care so much.

 

Hmmph. I bet people brought over cake for Siuan too, and Mo had to sleep in hay with smelly Lan.

 

I do like Siuan, actually, despite my playing.

I do not like Siuan! I feel she is less of a friend than Moiraine. Moiraine is loyal - in a Damodred fashion - and Siuan is not. Siuan is all "oh look at me, I am so pretty, let me have Bryne's babies".

Niklish imagines that if Moiraine Siuan and Lan gets into a room, it is Moiraine and Siuan who picks on Lan. Not Moiraine and Lan picking on Siuan.

 

But maybe that's just because Lan isn't a girl?

Anyway! I do not think they are very close anymore because that implies Siuan actually still cares for Moiraine. Moiraine, like a good puppy, still cares for Siuan, maybe even deeply, but it has to go both ways!

Yes, I get the feeling it doesn't go both ways either!

 

But I really think it has something to do with their circumstances. I meant it when I was saying about Siuan being given cake. She had many people that she saw over and over again for 20 years. Mo just travelled so much, and because of her job she probably couldn't have close friendships like she had with Siuan with other women.
